DIY Aloe Vera 2 in 1 Lip Balm/ Gloss using Skin79 Aloe Aqua Soothing Gel

Although there are thousands of lip balms available in the market but believe it or not those lip balms do more bad than good. You might have heard a myth that medicated lip balms tend to make your lips even drier. These balms actually contain ingredients such as camphor/ and or phenol that turn your lips even drier and also act as a barrier against any moisture that your lips might receive from the air. Contrary to this, homemade aloe-vera lipbalm/gloss nourishes your dry lips, locks in the moisture & keeps your lips supple & moist.

Ingredients: DIY Home Made Aloe Vera Gel’s Lip Gloss

1 Tbsp of coconut oil
½ Tbsp of Vitamin E oil
Essential oils (optional)

Method

  1. Mix all these ingredients until they make a smooth paste and look like a perfect mixture.
  2. Add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil to develop a taste
  3. Fill it in a container or recycle your old contact lens case.
  4. This lip balm adds a beautiful sheen to your pucker. Though originally it is a lip gloss, it serves as a lip balm too. Vitamin E oil keeps your lips soft whereas Skin79 aloe aqua soothing gel ensures enough hydration when the season is getting mildly cold.

P.S To apply either use your fingers, or an old applicator.
